ORDERING
The procedure for ordering is as follows:
Click on the 'Order
Enquiry Secure' button. Fill out all the '*' sections and the box detailing the parts you are
interested in, together with quantities, and any other preferences. If
you would like us to proceed straight to despatch, then fill out the
payment details also. If there are any issues with your order we will
come back to you for confirmation before filling the order.
Alternatively if you would prefer to get a total first before formally
ordering, you can fill out the same form but leave the payment boxes
empty and we
will then confirm back with availability and total price.
Alternatively you can call us on International 44
1322 442990 (our answerphone can collect these details outside of UK
hours), or you can fax us on International 44 1322 442886.
We can accept International Money
Orders/Drafts (drawn in Pounds Sterling only). We can also accept Swift
Transfers in Pounds Sterling for values over £400 (or under this with a

Immediately payment is clear we will despatch
and confirm back to you by email.
POINTS TO
NOTE
Out of Stock Goods - All out of stock goods
are placed on back order, and despatched on the arrival of new stocks,
unless we receive an emailed cancellation request before despatch. Back
orders are fulfilled on a first in first out basis. Credit cards are
only debited when despatch is imminent.
Credit Cards -
Details given are checked against databases to ensure against fraud. If
the delivery address for the goods is not the same as the cardholder's
address, this will cause delays to despatch of up to 4 working days,
while we check for further details from the credit card issuer. This
process can be speeded up by the credit card holder faxing proof of
identity, such as driver's license, passport or credit card statement.
Carriage Transit Times and Cost
- Our policy is to despatch goods the same day as payment is processed.
Goods out of stock and other reasons (see above), can cause delays in
despatch. Should there be a reason for a delay in despatch, we will
email you immediately to allow you the option to cancel your order.
The majority of our parts are not listed as freight paid. The customer
is therefore ultimately responsible for all freight costs. We are happy
to offer the best arrangements we can to you for transport. There are
often
multiple options on transit depending on the destination and your
priority, speed or cost. We generally send goods so as to trade off speed against cost. Two to three working day delivery within the UK is
typical. Between 5 and 10 days to the US is normal. And between 3 and 4
days to Europe. We can arrange for guaranteed services if required.
Please email us at the time of order with your name and address if you
would like this option and we will quote you.
Our most requested rates are to the US. Below
please find immediately below estimated rates for parcels to the US.
Courier service is currently with DHL. The first Kg is always
expensive relatively by courier, so under 3.5 kg, we normally send by Air Post. We
have given example rates for Air Post at exact weight points as the
price varies with every 20 g. Please note these rates are based on the
cheapest option air services and for despatches based on weight. Extra
services or consignments that exceed carrier volume/measurement to
weight ratio limits will likely cost more.

Package Delivery -
All goods are carefully packed and consigned in good condition. They are
signed for as such by the carriers who are then responsible. In the
event that any parcel is in bad condition upon arrival, so that the
goods could conceivably be either damaged or missing, it is necessary
for customers to note this fact on the carrier's sheet when the goods
are signed for. No claim for goods lost or substantially damaged in
transit will be accepted unless this is done. All claims for loss or
damage must be made to us within 3 days of the receipt of the goods, or
the claim may not be recognized.
Returns - Should
you wish to return goods, you must email us of your intention before
despatch. We will then issue a returns number that should be quoted on
the returns note with the returned goods. All goods despatched to us
must be sent safely packed, carriage and insurance paid and at the
owner's risk. Goods returned due to unsuitability must be received
in perfect resale condition including all their original packaging and
any documentation. In any other condition the goods will not be
acceptable for credit. If the goods are accepted back in a fit state for
resale, there is a restocking fee of 15% of the invoiced value of the
goods or £5 whichever is higher. Goods returned because of being
received damaged or faulty (and this duly reported to us within 3 days
of delivery. See Package Delivery) will be replaced. Used goods that are
still under supplier warranty may be either replaced, repaired or
credited at our discretion, depending on the result of our investigation
into the causes of the problem. Should the goods returned be deemed to
have been damaged through misuse, neglect or mistreatment, i.e. the
damage is not covered under warranty, then we will consult with you by
email as to how you want to proceed, whether to replacement or repair,
both of which will be chargable at the time of return to you.
Guarantee - Goods
are guaranteed for one year from the date of invoice, and the guarantee
covers events occurring during the proper use of the product, excepting
any malfunction attributable to incorrect assembly, imperfect
maintenance, improper use or fair wear and tear. We may annul this
guarantee in cases of damage due to:1) incorrect assembly, use or
maintenance, 2) Accidents, knocks, tampering and/or modifications to the
original product, 3) Force Majeure, including fire, floods and other
natural disasters, 4) in the case of forks, damage to the finish or in
any case damage of an aesthetic nature due to the use of inappropriate
cleaning products, 5) in the case of tools damage due to abuse or
incorrect use, use without lubricants, use with the wrong lubricants, or
use on materials for which it was not designed, 6) in the case of
framebuilding components we sell on the assumption that the builder has
the correct equipment and understanding of correct fabrication methods
in order to produce a safe product for the intended final use. WARNING
Please note that due to the desire in the sport to produce the lightest
bicycles, some of the components we sell, e.g. tubes, are manufactured
near the safe limit of their raw materials (e.g. light tube thicknesses)
Some components can only be built with safely and without damage with a
great deal of builder care, the correct expertise, and the right
building equipment.. Please ask for advice if you are at all unsure of
your abilities or building equipment.
This guarantee requires the goods to have been
stored in suitable conditions, and used for the purpose intended, all in
accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. No liability beyond the
replacement of the actual goods supplied will be accepted. In
cases of dispute, the arbiter is the manufacturer.
Taxes - All
prices quoted are nett of UK sales tax. In line with regulations, UK
sales tax will not be charged by us for goods supplied to countries outside of
the European Union. However local or national sales taxes may still be
levied or liable on part or all of the shipment value upon import and
the carrier may charge a small administration fee for collecting this. If in
doubt, please contact your local customs office. In European Union
member states outside the UK, no sales tax will be charged where a European Union VAT number is supplied and validated.
- Any prices shown on this site are quoted in
Pounds Sterling. Conversions are done automatically on payment by credit
or debit card. As a guide to the current market rates, we have provided
the link above. Please note however, that each card has a loading on the
current exchange rate, where the credit card company covers its costs
and make its profits. The rates shown are not a guarantee of the
exchange rate you will get. Nor can we guarantee the accuracy of the
information found on the link.
